Hello! My name is Major Michael Skullr and I am the Commander of Los Alamitos Cadet Squadron 153. I hope you will enjoy looking through our web site. You will find that our site is many things to many people.

If you are already a Squadron 153 member, I hope that you will find the resources you need to make your job easier and more productive. This is your web site and your input is always welcomed.

If you are from another Civil Air Patrol Squadron and you find something that you would like to copy and use for your squadron, please feel free to do so. We are always willing to lend a helping hand.

If you are visiting our area please come by and visit. You are always welcome.

If you are thinking about joining a dynamic volunteer organization, we hope you will visit us at our next meeting. Our Squadron is, perhaps, a bit unique. We are extremely proud of our members, both Cadet and Senior. We hold our people to a higher standard and believe in accountability for their actions.

Each Civil Air Patrol Squadron has a specialty that is selected from the three missions of the CAP. These missions are Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services. Our specialty is Cadet Programs.

I command a dynamic group of young people that are training to be the leaders of tomorrow. In fact, they are already leading their peers today as we do local air shows and other community events. I know that our Cadets will take the leadership skills that they learn in CAP and use them to become successes in whatever field of endeavor they may choose.

Our Senior members give direction to our Cadets. And each one brings a world of experience to the program. Our Seniors are from a wide variety of backgrounds and fields of expertise.

I have one special note to parents who are visiting this web site. If you are looking for a program where your young people can learn and can grow in positive directions while having a lot of fun, you are in the right place. We are where the leaders of tomorrow are created. Now, please feel free to roam our website and I hope to meet you soon.
